Marte grew up in the beautiful town of Farsund, Norway. She graduated with a BA in photography from London College of Printing in 1998.
She regularly works for a wide range of clients including Martha Stewart Living, Elle Decoration, Condé Nast Traveller, Junior, Livingetc, ES Magazine, Copenhagen Food, Egmont Magasiner, Schibsted Forlag, Aftenposten, Politikens Forlag, Benjamin, Oxygen, Hageselskapet, Bonnier Publications International, Tun Media, Hegnar Media, Egmont Hjemmet Mortensen and Innovation Norway.
Marte divides her time between Copenhagen and Zanzibar.
